Why I Am Incurably Optimistic About Nigeria’s Future, By Bishop Kukah

The Bishop of Sokoto Diocese of Roman Catholic Church, Bishop Matthew Kukah says he is incurably optimistic about the future of Nigeria because of the potentials in the nation’s diversity of languages and tribes as well as his personal benefits from the system, as a citizen.

Delivering his sermon during the Interment Mass held yesterday for late Chief Michael Chukwuka Onyema in Mbosi, Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State, Kukah said it was necessary for Nigerians to celebrate values that unite the various segments of the country, as against nepotism and other divisive vices.

“I am incurably and incredibly optimistic about the future of Nigeria,” he said at this burial ceremony of the father of Chief Barrister Allen Onyema, Chairman of Air Peace.
