Training Institutions’ Accreditation Starts In Nigeria 2019

In a bid to ensure the provision of quality training for the development of human capital managers, the Acting Director General, Centre for Management Development (CMD), Bitrus Chinoko, has said the institution will commence accreditation for training institutions found to have met the requirements.

Daily Trust reports that the Acting DG who was represented by the Director, Research, Training and Consultancy, Mr. Bode Newo, stated this at the opening ceremony for the 25th annual conference of heads of training and development in Nigerian public and private organizations, adding that accreditation of training institutions will start in 2019.

He also said the institution has been in discussions with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) to ensure that the CMD okays any training institutions before it starts operations.
